5 SENSES PHOTO CHALLENGE
For this assignment you will figure out how to depict each of The Five Senses (sight, smell, touch, taste, or hearing) in a photograph. You will take a total of 5 photos--one of each sense. In addition to including one of the five senses in each photo you'll also want to remember the elements of composition and use at least one to enhance your photograph and draw attention to the subject. We'll be putting all 5 photos together in one layout, so some of your photos will end up square.
Download the 9x9photo grid.psd file below to arrange your photos.
You will need to crop your photos to fit the sizes before you drag and drop them into the grid.
The sizes are as follows:
Purple: 6" wide x 3" high 300 resolution
Orange, yellow & blue: 3" wide x 3" high 300 resolution
Green: 6" wide x 6" high 300 resolution

- Then, flatten your image (Click here to learn how)
- Use the Move tool (v) to drag and drop your photo into the grid.
- There are blue guide lines in the grid file to help you line up your photos. You will notice that your photos "snap" or jump towards the line to try and line themselves up.
