1. What is one thing you think you've been successful at or achieved in 2016? (Can be photo-related or not.)
2. What is one goal you have for 2017? What do you think you'll create for your Photo Illustration project? If you're not sure, come up with a possibility, even if it isn't what you end up doing.
Pair up with a classmate and practice the following (which are the last three items on your Part I Final Exam). There is no need to write anything down. Just discuss.
1. What is the minimum shutter speed to shoot clear pictures with a normal 18-55mm lens and without a tripod? 2. Pick an element of composition for your partner. Ask them to describe how they could use that element to compose a photograph of an apple. 3. Have your partner act out a demonstration of how to meter light in Manual mode. Where do you point the camera? What do you do if the meter says it'll be too dark? Too light? How do you change each setting? Pair up with a classmate and practice the following (which are the first three items on your Final Exam). There is no need to write anything down. Just discuss.
1. What is the shutter speed? How would you make it faster? 2. What is the aperture? How would you open it up? 3. What would you do to create a larger depth of field? |
